I’m getting this post up much too late, but Texas Instruments has another iteration of their NASA coding contests going on right now, with a grand prize of a TI-Innovator Rover and a TI graphing calculator. Top teams also get to take a trip to NASA’s Johnson Space Center. These contests are always a great chance for students to express creativity in STEM and learn coding concepts.
I say that I’m getting this post up too late because Texas Instruments has already selected which students will advance beyond the first round. That said, it looks like they are sharing materials on the contest page as the contest continues, and I’d expect them to continue to share information about the contest on their Facebook page. I’d encourage students and teachers to follow along. If you’ve missed the window to participate this year, keep on top of those updates and see if you’d like to participate next year.
