I’ve been religiously checking ever day for the last several weeks to see if the TI-Nspire CX is listed on Amazon. Until today, the pattern was always the same. Search for “TI-Nspire CX,” autocomplete beating me to the punch before the first few letters are out (making me thing many others are doing the same), and then the same 5 or 6 products, none of them the TI-Nspire CX.
Today, it was different. The seventh product on the list is the “TI-Nspire CX transition pack.” There is no picture and the description is lacking. However, the listing today, May 11, 2011, claims they have 20 in stock. One site I searched elsewhere for the TI-Nspire CX transition pack said it includes a TI-Nspire CX handheld, an installed rechargeable battery, and all the usual stuff you get with a TI-Nspire (reference guide, USB cables, etc). I’m unclear why it’s called a “transition pack.” It sounds just like what you’d expect to get when buying a TI-Nspire CX.
